Accessibility Statement
This Accessibility Statement applies to the website of the Federal Employment Agency published at https://job-futuromat.iab.de.
As a public sector body in the sense of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, we endeavour to make our websites and mobile applications accessible in compliance with the regulations of the national law concerning the equality of the disabled (Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz des Bundes – BGG) and the Regulation on the Accessibility of Information Technology (Barrierefreien-Informationstechnik-Verordnung – BITV 2.0) for the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
State of the compliance with the requirements
The accessibility requirements are defined in the BITV 2.0, Section 3, Paragraph 1 to 4, and Section 4, which was enacted on the basis of the BGG, Section 12d.
The verification of compliance with the requirements is based on an independent BITV 2.0 test carried out in December 2020.
As a result of the verification, the website is partly compliant with the above requirements due to the following incompatibilities.

In the case that after your feedback to the above contact, no satisfactory solution has been found, you can approach the arbitration body (Schlichtungsstelle) pursuant to the BGG, section 16. It is the responsibility of the BGG arbitration body to provide support in conflicts regarding accessibility between individuals with disabilities and public sector bodies in an extrajudicial arbitration. The arbitration procedure is free of charge. The parties do not need a lawyer. Requirements on accessible contents in accordance with WCAG 2.1
1.1 Text alternatives: Meaningful text alternatives are provided for non-text contents.
1.2 Time-based media: For time-based media (such as videos, etc.), alternatives (such as subtitles and audio description) are provided.
1.3 Adaptability: The contents can be displayed in different ways without losing the information or structure.
1.4 Distinguishability: The contents can be easily seen or heard.
2.1 Keyboard accessibility: The functionalities are accessible via keyboard.
2.2 Sufficient time: Users have sufficient time to read or use contents.
2.3 Seizures and physical reactions: The contents have been designed in such a way that they cannot cause seizures.
2.4 Navigability: Users have sufficient means to navigate, find contents, and to determine where they are.
2.5 Input modalities: There are input alternatives for the functions.
